Max is a disabled queer & trans artist, educator, and caregiver. In their role as the Community Health Leadership Programs Coordinator, they run the Pivot and Totally Outright programs.

Max is deeply passionate about disability justice and accessibility within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. He believes that when we build access into the foundation of the work we do & the things we create, it opens doors for everyone, no matter their ability.

In her free time, Max loves hiking, sewing, and visiting art galleries and museums. They are also on an ongoing journey to see all the biggest things in Alberta (such as the Mundare Sausage)!

The QTHC is based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (ᐊᒥᐢᑲᐧᒋᐋᐧᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ) within Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground and home of the Nêhiyaw (Cree), Denesuliné (Dene), Nahkawininiwak (Saulteaux), Niitsítapi (Blackfoot), and Îyârhe Nakoda (Nakota Sioux), as well as nations not represented by the treaty, and is located in Region 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta.
