Welcome to the Queer + Trans Health Collective
The Queer & Trans Health Collective (QTHC) is an Edmonton-based, grassroots health organization run by and for queer and trans community members.
We empower queer and trans wellbeing by providing and promoting equitable access to health education, support, capacity building, community-based research, and provider training.

What We Do *
-
Harm Reduction Support
Rooted in harm reduction principles, QTHC offers sexual health and substance use education, counselling, and outreach in addition to drug testing services.
-
Programming & Training
We provide community members access to the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to contribute to their health, the health of those they love, and the health of the community-at-large.
-
Research
We are committed to the principles of community-based participatory research. We believe in research that centres and uplifts community voices, and that addresses real issues our community is facing.
-
Resources & Information
We are proud to offer a large library of resources for the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community on a variety of topics relating to mental, physical, emotional, social and sexual health.
National 2S/LGBTQIA+ Substance Use Study
Join the first ever national study on non-legalized substance use within the 2S/LGBTQIA+ community! Help shape the work of harm reduction organizations and contribute to advocacy efforts across the country.
